Description Robin Rosenberg 2004-01-25 23:51:59 UTC
Version: 1.6 (using KDE 3.2.0 RC1, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-4mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-21mdk

The right-click popup menu is sorted in the wrong order wrt the standard folders inbox, outbox, draft, sent items and trash. These are sorted according to their untranslated names instead of the localized name that appear in the list.

Short example of sort order in swedish. Utkast is swedish for Draft.

	Docbook
	Utkast
	Dummy

It's a very small problem, but it easily gives the impression that the list of folders isn't sorted. Other lists appear to sort the standard folders first.

Which popup are you talking about?
Comment 2 Andreas Gungl 2004-08-07 17:54:56 UTC
The popup menu appears after a RMB click on a message header (in the header pane).

Yep I can now confirm this with the development version of KMail and it does indeed seem to sort on the english names of these folders.
Comment 4 Jaime Torres 2008-09-09 18:04:58 UTC
In 1.10.1 it still sorts using the English names, resulting in this Spanish disorder:

entrante
saliente
enviado
papelera
borrador
plantillas

In KDE 4.3 you have the folders not sorted by english names.
I have inbox, outbox, sent mail, trash, draft, templates
you see draft after trash.
Also, you can now define your own order by selecting: "Sort items manually by drag&drop" in the RMB menu of the folder tree.
