Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux Hi, I've upgraded my SUSE 8.2 installation to KDE 3.2 RC1 and now when print from within an application it hangs completley and has to be killed. The print dialog appears, I select "print" and it stops responding. It also hangs if I try to print to file. I did not have this problem with KDE 3.1.4, KDE 3.2 beta 1 or beta 2 - so on the same machine it is "new". I downloaded the SUSE RPMs from ftp.kde.org Strangely if I launch kprinter from a consol (kprinter sean_test.txt) it prints fine in text mode. I am not convinced KDE is entirely at fault, however I can't explain why all the other KDE versions have worked fine. It happens with all the KDE apps I have tried - KMail, Konq, Kwrite etc. Perhaps this should be "critical" or "crash" ?
we somehow believe it's qt. even though KDE 3.1.4 prints fine with qt 3.3 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 73041 ***
