Description Felix Bauer 2004-01-14 16:37:52 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r3, propolice) -mcpu=athlon-xp -O3 -pipe
OS: Linux

Hi,

I think it would be a great improvement, if the webshortcuts (gg:, leo: aso) would be available via the contextmenu of konqueror.

For better understanding, a sample situation:

1. I open my browser and browse somewhere...doesnt matter in fact.
2. I find a word, I want google ask for.
3. I mark the word, click the right-mouse-button goto an entry like "WebShortcuts ->" with a submenu of some of the specified webshortcuts.
4. After I have choosen a new tab opens and I get the requested page.

Wouldnt that be a nice improvement?

thx in advance

Dear user,

KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6.

Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component.

We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes.

For security issues, please see:

https://kde.org/info/security/

Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
