Description usa 2004-01-12 13:11:30 UTC
Version:           3.1.4 (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from:    SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 (SuSE Linux)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-144-athlon

if connecting to a windows smb share (smb://xy/), konqueror asks for login information for this share. Konqueror asks again for login information if one changes to any subdirectory of the shared drive (or directory). Konqueror seems to permanently want to get login information for smb-shares.

This dialog always pops up:
...
Please enter authentication information for

Server=xy

Share=C$
...

Seems to be a Suse-only problem...
Comment 2 usa 2004-01-12 17:18:48 UTC
I don't know if it's Suse's fault. But it doesn't work with KDE 3.2 Beta 2 and Suse-RPMs. There is no "save login information" check box as in Mandrake.
