Description ndeb 2004-01-06 06:05:23 UTC
Version:           4.0 (using KDE 3.1.94 (CVS >= 20031206), Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-3mdk)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.6.0-1mdk

I use the mouse to select/highlight some text in konqueror. Then if I go to the main toolbar's "edit" menu, I should expect the cut and copy operations to be activated. However, often this does not happen. Also, when this problem appears, even pressing "delete" key does not delete the selected text. This problem is intermittent since if I retry and go to the edit menu, the copy and cut options appear active and the delete key starts working too. Basically, I have to go to the edit menu twice to activate the text copy and cut options.
