a value for the height/width in the config file: ~/.kde/share/config/kcmrandrrc withis higher than the actuell configurationmakes a failure(Sig. 11) in krandrinithack(.so) .

I don't know where the false setting was comming from. And it was complitated to find the source of the problem....

Else of this it is neither possible to save its info in the crash information (german:Rückverfolgung) with copy to clipboard (it will be overwritten with "p") nor to save to a file because the sandclock is never stoping while biulding the saving window.

again, on an other computer were  i switched between Monitor and vnc usement with an other resolution I get the same problem...., but it comes only a klick away window...

i only got this problem when i login as root otherwise i not.

There is no krandrinithack in current KDE versions.
