KMail seemingly doesn't support the archaic uuencoding (although we have some support for it). But that's no bug.
Comment 3 Ingo Klöcker 2004-01-04 23:44:20 UTC
After replacing
Content-Transfer-Encoding: x-uue
with
Content-Transfer-Encoding: x-uuencode
I could save the message without problems.

So we just have to handle x-uue the same way as x-uuencode.

I have new KMail (1.6.2) and this problem remained

Is this a dupe of bug 55898 ?

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.
Comment 7 Luigi Toscano 2012-08-19 00:57:47 UTC
Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
