Description Philippe Fremy 2003-12-30 15:56:52 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.94)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

Very often, you have situation where you have a window (number 1) open and you want to drag'n drop an item from another window (number 2) in window number 1.

When you start dragging from window 2, and if it is a fullscreen window, it will hide the window 1 and you have to select it with alt-tab.

Windows XP has a nice behaviour that I miss from KDE, for this case. When you start drag'n drop from another window, it does not get raised and you can drop safely in your window 1.

I personally encounter this case quite often:
- when dragging email adresses from my kmail reader (full screen) into my composer message
- when moving files around with konqueror

Of course, if you do anything but drag'n drop, the window still get raised.
