Description Ted Hansen 2003-12-19 05:46:11 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: Unspecified
OS: Linux

KDE should have feedback to the user when it fails to execute a command. ie, if user tries to start an application which had been removed KDE just spins it's hourglass for a set period of time then shuts off. Somewher KDE has sent a message 'run script xxx' or whatever to the system & the system will have responded 'cannot find script xx'. (At least if you tried it from console you would get an equivalent response). KDE should process this message, quit looking for 'script xx' & pass the error message back to the user.
