Description Jo Vermeulen 2003-12-17 10:22:12 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

I would like to set custom colors for several quote levels (for example green for the first (>), blue for the second (>>) and red for the third (>>>)). But I don't want to change the background (or higlight) color. This is the color that an article or newsgroup has as its background color, when you click on it.

I did not find a way of doing this. Now every time I use a different color scheme, I must adjust KNode's highlighting color manually.

Please note that the terms I use could be different from the actual English terms, because I am using the Dutch version of Knode.

It would be nice if I could change my quoting colors, but let the highlighting color adapt to themes.

This is a screenshot of the settings window. It shows the setting I meant,
because maybe the English term is different. This is in Dutch though.

The rectangles in red indicate the difference in color. As you can see, my theme's colour is blue, and Knode's highlight color is red.

[Mass change for wishlist between year 2002 and 2003] KNode is no longer maintained.
