Version: 1.5.94 (using KDE 3.1.94 (3.2 Beta 2), Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 (Mandrake Linux 9.2 3.3.1-4mdk) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-25mdk Steps to reproduce: 1. Open KMail 2. Double click on a message to open it in a separate window 3. Click Reply button Actual result: I get a dialog window which says I should wait for the message to transfer, but it is allready on my hard drive. This dialog just sits there at 0% and nothing happens. Expected result: When I click Reply button a new window with quoted original message should be shown immidiately. Workaround: It works just fine if I select the same message in the main KMail window and click on a Reply button on main toolbar. It also works from separate window after I send any reply from main window.
IIRC this problem only occurs for maildir folders. And I can confirm the problem.
Fixed in CVS.
Maybe this has been broken again? Setup: KMail 1.7.2, KDE 3.3.2 (Debian unstable), DIMAP 1) doubleclick on a message to get the separate reader window 2) switch to another folder 3) hit the reply-button in the separate reader window -> you get the "Please wait" dialog 4) cancel that dialog 5) hit reply-button again -> kmail crashes (sorry, no useful bt available)
Works fine here with local and dIMAP accounts (CVS from 2005-01-26) . Do you perhaps use IMAP with load on demand enabled?
Disconnected IMAP doesn't have this option, does it? (At least, I can't find anything about it). Works fine with local folders (maildir). Works with IMAP (even load-on-demand enabled). Only doesn't work with DIMAP.
I can reproduce this with dimap and current head. Ingo, do you remember how you fixed this for local folders? Some message not being set complete somewhere?
Still crashes in HEAD
I can't reproduce this issue with kmail svn r854573 with DIMAP. Clicking on reply successfully opens the reply window without any "Please wait" dialog. I have followed exactly the steps as described both in description and comment 3.
Can not reproduce also.
