The updated package only contains a work-around. Unfortunately, it seems possible to trigger the bug despite the work-around. (That is also why I would need to know which of the packages you are using.) Subject: Re: When "save as" dialog is completed application and file disappear If you do not have updated any KOffice package from SuSE 9.0 Pro to the updated ones of the SuSE sites (by whatever mechanism), then you have the version without the work-around. This version is going to crash anyway. The problem is that the bug is difficult to track down, so even the work-around do not avoid all crashes.
