when I click on an email address in konqui and kontact/kmail is already running then starting kmailservice fails (obviously). therefore there is now way to send an email with an running kmail in the background.

The expected behaviour should be: if kmail is not runnig start kmailservice.
if not, just open a composer window of the running kmail.

i am having the exact same problem in kde-3.2-beta2 compiled from sources.  when kontact is open, clicking on an email link on konqeror results in "kmailservice" showing up in the panel with an hour glass icon, but then it goes away after a while and nothing happens.
