Version: 1.5.93 (using KDE 3.1.93 (CVS >= 20031028), (testing/unstable)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Debian) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-xfs guess its clear? I think it whould be usefull that if you right-click on a mail you have replied upon, you see the option "open answer" or whatever you guys want to name it, and the replie you have send previously, whould be opened, so you see what you have replied. I think this could be easy done with a predefined search?!? tnx, and keep up the good work! me is looking forward to KDE 3.2!
KDE 3.2 is cool, and Kmail 1.6 too, but I still really miss this option. Often, I forgot what I have answered (for example, wheter I forgot someting or not) and I have to search my sent-mail manually, or use a search. an "open reply" whould be very very easy...
a feature which the new Gmail maybe is going to have seems to make this feature (being able to open the reply you send on a mail) less needed - they show the messages from an disscussion in the vieuw (and maybe reply) so you can oversee it a bit more. (sorry for english, hope its clear). might be nice?!?!?
maybe keeping replies in the folder should be kmail's default, and the new gmail-like mail view started as Summer of Code project will fix this. i kind'a wonder what i should do with this bugreport, i'll revisit it when KDE4 is out (or when a solution exists in SVN).
Bump. What's the status of this in KDE4?
KMail can keep replies in the same folder now. That basically solves this issue for 99% so I'll close it... I do think that option should be default, btw :D
