Description Dik Takken 2003-11-09 16:55:05 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.93)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: Linux

Some webpages are rendered using fonts that don't match my "fonts used on webpages" settings. However, when I open the font configuration dialog of Konqueror, change something, change it back, (no matter what, as long as the 'apply' button gets active) and press 'apply', Konqueror redraws the page in the correct way. When I reload the page, Konqueror ignores my settings again.

One webpage that shows this behaviourr is

http://www.tweakers.net

This page is partly rendered using a non-anti-aliased font (I guess it's stupid Helvetica again). As soon as you change the 'standard font' in konq's settings to Arial and press apply, the whole page is using nice fonts. Reloading the page causes Helvetica to show up again, even though the settings stay the same.

Some fonts are completely refused by Konqueror. Changing the standard font from Arial to Arial Black causes Konqueror's renderer to fall back to Helvetica again.
