Description Peter Schuller 2003-11-09 01:25:37 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

It would be very nice if Konqueror supported persistent sessions that preseve full tab state - similar to the way MDI Window states (including browsing history) is persistent across sessions in Opera.

While I have observed similar behavior when using KDE's "save session" feature when logging out, it would be very nice to have more explicit management of such a feature so that one is able to close Konqueror windows and re-open them regularly with the session preserved.

This is one of two major reasons why I am still using Opera as my primary browser; though I use Konqueror a lot too. I think such a feature would be very welcome by many Opera fans who are eager to move to Konqueror.
