Description Sebastian Urban 2003-11-03 16:11:38 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

since some time the linux kernel has support for acl (access control lists) in a reasonable number of filesystems. also, user space utilities exist to modify these acls.

however konqueror, the kde file manager, is missing this long-awaited feature. an implementation - pherhaps based on the windows NT/2000/XP Pro security manager - would be very useful and cool feature for kde.
