It would be useful if one could select which Desktop an icon appears in when Multiple Desktops are being used. By default, they should still appear in all desktops, but you should be able to deselect showing them on certain desktops in the 'properties' dialog for that icon. That way, you can save screenspace for icons that you usually only need in one or two desktops.

Bug closed. Kdesktop is no more mantained.
