Version: 1.5.4 (using KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: compiled sources Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB It would be cool to have an option in KMail that allows you to set an expirydate for a filter, so you can create a temporary filter. The filter would be automaticly deleted (or disabled?) upon expiry. This can be usefull for things like: -a virus outbreak, bombarding you with email you can easily filter out -a virus outbreak, bombarding you with bounce reports for mail you didn't send -you are organizing an event, and you like to filter all mail regarding it to a specific folder until the event actually takes place. The point is, that in all the events above, the filter only needs to be temporary. Especially in the case of the bounce messages: normally, I would like to receive them. In case of a virus outbreak that uses a false From addres, causing me to receive tons of false bounces, I would like to be able to trash them automaticly for a week or two, and then resume receiving them again.
