this happens with all kde programs where i can save something. i will attach a screenshot made with gimp to show how it looks.

no, it doesn't take all the cpu speed. everythings just like normal except that i cannot 
save in all kde programs

i think i will let gentoo recompile kde tonight, and if it still works wrong i will tell you, if 
not i will mark the bug as resolved

I still think you should report it at gentoo.org, it works fine for about everyone else. 
One possible cause might be misconfigured system

I trying to work on a project in animation and the new version display that I cannot see the animation timeline. I wasn't sure if it was the software affect my system or something I download on my surface pro tablet?

Why are you posting this on a 16 years old bug report that has nothing to do with krita? Open a new report
