Description Trond Aasan 2003-09-26 17:12:49 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
OS: Linux

How to Reproduce:

UTF-8 file:
kwrite http://www.pvv.ntnu.no/~trondaas/KDE/kwrite.utf8.txt

Or ISO-8859-1 file:
kwrite http://www.pvv.ntnu.no/~trondaas/KDE/kwrite.latin1.txt

One of them should turn up garbled.

Kwrite seems to use the default charset, ignoring the HTTP header.

Expected Behaviour:
kwrite should use the charset specified in the HTTP header.
