Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: Slackware Packages OS: Linux My laptop came with a UK keyboard so it has to be the default keymap. At work, it is docked, and the keyboard I use has a Dvorak keymap. I would like kdm to offer me a list of keymaps (preselected by root in the login manager configusation), so I can switch to Dvorak and enter my password normally.
Done in KDE 3.2
1) nothing in upstream kdm even remotely implements the feature you requested 2) WORKSFORME is NOT for submitters. if your bug was fixed/implemented, then it is FIXED, obviously. rtfm - http://bugs.kde.org/queryhelp.cgi#resolution
Subject: Re: Keyboard map cannot be selected on login screen No idea why WORKSFORME is there. This said, _I_ submitted a wish and _I_ saw it implemented in 3.2beta2, so _I_ decided I would mark it as resolved so _you_ would have one less point in your todo list... I am sorry that the result has been _you_ wasting time with it, as the intention was quite the contrary. Happy New Year, and thanks for the good work... Herv
