Description elias 2003-09-20 00:31:10 UTC
Version: 0.72 (using KDE KDE 3.1.4KDE 1.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages0Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux

I use several different environments depending on what computer I'm on. I'm particularly fond of kopete on my KDE box and was hopeful to be able to use it on my now aging laptop. My laptop, however, isn't quite powerful enough to run KDE these days, so I'm running XFCE to keep things speedy. But when I run Kopete in XFCE, it doesn't minimize to the notification area (just to a tiny window on the desktop). Since freedesktop now has some great specifications for the notification tray, would it be possible to give Kopete an option to use them, and therefore be usable in multiple environments?
