Version: KAddressBook 3.1 KMail 1.5 KDE 3.1-12 Red Hat (using KDE KDE 3.1) Installed from: RedHat RPMs Compiler: gcc 3.2.2 using KDE from Red Hat binary RPMs OS: Linux Most email contacts are local to my mailserver "hermes", so valid addresses could include: weed, fi, fe, fo, fum .. but others are served by a corporate mailserver, with addresses such as: boss@lexmark.com A distribution list "foie", comprised of "fe fi fo" sends "foie" mail to all 3 local addresses, as expected. Another distribution list "news", comprised of "fe fi boss@lexmark.com" unexpectedly ONLY delivers "news" email to boss@lexmark.com. Changing all local contacts to be "fe@hermes fi@hermes fo@hermes", etc and updating the "news" distribution list to those qualified email addresses causes "news" email to be delivered to all distribution list entries, as expected.
libkabc just stores the email addresses, if kmail handles the entries wrong (sends not all), I can't influence it in libkabc/kaddressbook. For this reason I reassign it to kmail.
I should clarify that only "boss at lexmark.com" showed up on the "To:" line when "news" was entered, including the "Sent-Mail" folder copy.
