Description Dik Takken 2003-09-18 14:15:02 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: Linux

I was working on a website that requires a password to enter. I wanted to know the valid username/pass combination that is stored on the ftp server the site is running from. So, while Konqueror window A was waiting for me to enter the password to enter the website, I tried to login on the FTP server using Konqueror window B. But Konqueror failed to contact the FTP server. It sais "Sending login data", and after that it keeps waiting for ever. It never displayed the login dialog. Only when I hit 'Cancel' on the HTTP authentication dialog of Konqueror window A, window B immediately popped up the FTP password dialog.

Apparently, it is impossible to have more than one authentication dialog open at any time.
