Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux Idea: I would like KMail to automatically parse incoming MAILER-DAEMON style error messages and present an appropriate error message next to the original message, in the user's native language, with an option to view the original error mail. Rationale: I know from personal experience that many users cannot interpret the standard error messages sent by many mailer-daemons, especially if they do not speak English. So they often just delete these messages and never know that their message was not correctly delivered. Implementation: I'm not sure if the message format is sufficently standardized so that all messages can be parsed correctly. I think it would be a first good step to implement the parsing of the most widely used daemons, say qmail, postfix, sendmail, Exchange and whatever AOL and Hotmail happen to be using right now. Additional features/ideas: Jump directly to the address book in case of a permanent error, so the user can change or delete the faulty address.
