Description Sander Devrieze 2003-08-30 20:17:38 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.2)

For usability reasons it would be good if a popup with information is showed if the digital camera or the gphoto2 driver for that camera don't support uploading. (this is also the behavior in digikam)

actually the kio slave does not support upload yet.

I will be working on it.

Trying to move a file to a device opened through camera:/ in PTP mode, Dolphin shows "Could not write to file .", so I assume this is still an issue 11 years later as of v18.07.90.

In a way Dolphin's message is a "popup", but let's keep this open until kamera supports writing (camera.protocol currently still has "writing=false").
