Description Janis Blechert 2003-08-30 18:41:55 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.1.9)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-ck1

Well, everytime i click on a news in my newsticker a little window opens which tells me that the link is beeing opened, it looks somewhat obsolete since it only lasts half a second, the same happens when you open a device from the desktop, it would be nicer if this window wouldnt open. xchat does it 'the right way' without such a window by simple opening konqueror %s
Sincerly
Janis Blechert

Is this still relevant or applicable with KDE Frameworks 5.45?
