Description Roger Larsson 2003-08-26 21:18:23 UTC
Version:           0.41 (using KDE 3.1.9)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-4GB

Usecase: want to copy A4

Problem: A scanned A4 does not fit within print area. Resulting in four pages printed.

How to come close:
* Scan page in A4
* Print
	* Properties - minimize margins.
	   (My hpdeskjet 5550 can print without margins)

	* Expand/Image Printing
		select "Original size (calc. ... scan resolution)"
		- works! (sizes matches,
		 I do not want to scale the page/image to fit)

Problem is that kookoa/kdeprint prints cut guides (+) on the page which prevents it to fit on page (or it does not fit and thus the guides are added).

Center of the upper left cut guide is 7 mm to the right and 10 mm down from the paper edge.

OK, added a print mode in CVS that prints the image on one page without cut marks.

Hope that does the trick :-)
