Description Roger Larsson 2003-08-23 16:35:41 UTC
Version: 1.5.9 (using KDE 3.1.9)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-4GB

Got a email on kdevelop list.

"Here's a patch that enables Haskell support for Gideon.
http://www.thaldyron.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=1
It doesn't change any source files, just the Makefile.am's and the main
template file."

Clicked on it - resulted in file opened directly in 'ark'
But I would like to save it.

Right clicked on the link - offered me to same "modules.php". Not perfect since the contents stored is really of the type '.tar.gz'...

Copied the link to konqueror - got the expected "Question
Open 'http://..kellsupport.tar.gz'?
Type: Gzipped Tar Archive
[] Do not ask again
Save As... Open with 'Ark' Cancel"

Kmail should use this dialogue (might be enhanced with an Open With... in future)

Corrected summary...
Comment 2 Roger Larsson 2004-07-22 23:21:54 UTC
Still a problem - tries to open khexview (but fails)
Might be related to me having khexview as default for
mimetype "all/allfiles"
