1. This is a logic bug (IMO) To enable or disable word wrap you have to go to "Configure Konqueror" and than "Appearance". Since this affects the whole desktop and not just the file manager, the user would expect an option like this in the Control Center -> Desktop -> Appearance.

2. When hovering over an item in the file manager there are 2 dialogs which should be combined into one. First there is one displaying the name of the item under the mouse and than there is a dialog box with information such as type, size and owner. There should be only one dialog which includes all this information, just like on the desktop.

3.  The full text of the icon's name should be shown when selected just like XP, this is much faster than waiting for the popups, and if you want to look at the filename longer and type it in a terminal or whatever, the pop up dissapears.

4. This is a weird bug on the desktop and happens if word wrap is on or off, here is how to reproduce it:

Summon the context menu over the icon of your choice on the desktop and click rename. Add a bunch of text such as  dgsggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
Now click on the desktop. All you will see will be the older icon's name (not the nonsense text).desktop instead of the new long filename. To see the new filename you need to summon the context menu again, select rename and click on the desktop.

Just simply selecting the rename action without modyfying the text will leave a originaltext.desktop until you restart KDE.
