Description Thomas Vollmer 2003-08-12 09:27:49 UTC
Version: CVS from 11.08.2003 (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 3.2
OS: Linux

Hi,

for some mails in IMAP folders Kmail shows only "unkown" for the date in the message list. While reading them the date in the message list gets correct. This stays there while reading other mails etc.

But sometimes the date information gets lost again. This can happen, for example, when I mark a complete thread as read.

I use a UW-IMAPD and I already look for regular failures in the mail header, but I saw nothing. I only have one point. It happens for 80% in the folder where all my KDE mailinglists subscriptions are sorted in, but I happens for mails from differnt versions of Kmail, Evolution, Mutt and different versions of Outlook (express).

Thomas

Reproducable. This phenomenon also throws threading and sorting.
