Description BryanFRitt 2003-08-05 18:47:38 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
OS: Linux

Using Right Click->Create New--> Should Automatically Select The New Item(s).
This should work for both the desktop and konqueror.
It currently doesn't select or outline the new file.

This could be used to open a(the) new file(s) after creating it(them) by just hitting the <Enter> key.
	related bug:
<Enter> key opens the outlined file instead of the selected file(s).

Can Right Click-->Create New--> create groups of files at one time?

It's going on 4 years. this bug is either still active in 3.5 or it has reappeared again. Rather than create a new bug, this is the exact problem I am seeing. I am still not sure how bugs are handled and if this is ever going to get viewed so I'll create a new one anyhow under the Ubuntu platform...
