Description missive 2003-07-27 07:25:38 UTC
Version: 1.1 (using KDE 3.1.2)
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20020320 [FreeBSD]
OS: FreeBSD (i386) release 4.8-STABLE

Sometimes when the panel is set to hide "immediately" when I move
the mouse down to get the panel it will pop up for an instant, then go
right back down again. To get the panel I have to move the mouse
out of the panel area and back to the bottom edge to make it pop
up again. Sometimes it takes three or four tries to get the panel to
stay up.

The times that it does this do not seem to depend on which applications
are running or on which ones are underneath the kicker... but I notice
that there is no problem when it is set to hide after 1 second.

Maybe a workaround would be to have "immediately" actually be a
tenth of a second or so... ?
