Description Andy Pahne 2003-07-22 22:01:40 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

There is a PGP plugin for the original Windows ICQ client:
  http://samopal.org/soft/pgpicq/

It would be nice, if I could somehow establish secure conversations with these windows clients.

I don't have any windows or vmware installations, so I can't provide more information on the plugin or how it works.

Just as a note: the latest release of the plugin is dated September 2001.
Comment 2 Olivier Goffart 2003-07-25 18:52:48 UTC
Doesn't the existing cryptography plugin work with it?

as i can see in screenshots given, this plugin use the same system as the kopete one
(send the crypted message dirrectly in the message with -----BEGIN PGP
MESSAGE-- header.

I can't test it, but i guess it should work.

If it does not work, what does kopete show when receiving messages from this plugin
for mirabilise client? and are other side able to decrypt message sent by kopete?
