What do you mean with "doesn
I tried emptying the (IMAP) trash via RMB menu. It pretended the folder got emptied but after the following mailcheck all the messages were back.
I have also seen this problem on imap://MailAndNews.com, but this problem also occurs with NetScape Messenger 4.78 and 7.1 for Windows, so I suspect it may be a bug in the server.
Lukas, for imap folders the empty trash action simply does: select all and move to /dev/null. This uses the same mechanisms as "normal" deletion on imap folders. We can't reproduce the behavior you describe, so if you can, please reopen this bug report and preferrably get an ethereal log of the communication with the server. Otherwise there is not much we can do.
That's right, I can't reproduce it any longer either
Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you!
