Description Dick Gevers 2003-07-08 21:30:09 UTC
Version: 3.1.2 (using KDE KDE 3.1.2)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
OS: Linux

This concerns KDE 3.1.2 freom Texstar rpm`s for Mandrake (MDL 9.1).

If a webpage or document is aved as..."the screen that comes up shows near the bottom `Location:`, but that is incorrect. The location is at the top . The word `location` should be replaced by `filename`.

The same applies to a document written in kwrite and application of `Save as...`

Errata: If a webpage or document is `Saved as...`

Sorry.
Comment 2 Thiago Macieira 2003-07-09 01:52:17 UTC
They are not the same thing. It is the location on the bottom of the dialog, since you type the
whole URL.

I'm changing this to a wishlist because it's just a wish to change the wording of the dialog.
Comment 3 Dick Gevers 2004-05-16 20:19:18 UTC
It remains a wish to correct a confusing dialogue for someone not experienced with KDE: it remains non-intuitively displayed. If one has to type the whole URL. please say so on screen. (I will always be a newbie in KDE, because I do not use it daily).

Moving from "kio/kfile" component to "kfile" product, helps sorting out duplicates.
Comment 5 Nate Graham 2018-04-11 20:31:17 UTC
The string now says "Name:" in KDE Frameworks 5.
