Version: 1.5.1 (using KDE 3.1.1) Installed from: SuSE Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-4GB Someone tried to send me an email but got the address wrong and got his email returned as undeliverable. He then forwarded it to the correct address. I received it as encapsulated - so far, so good. In this case I'd like to reply to the encapsulated msg, but kmail always replies to the top-level msg, which in a case like this is empty. The encapsulated msg isn't included in the reply, the reply is empty. These cases can't be that uncommon. I couldn't find a way to get the encapsulated msg into the reply, other than saving it to file and loading it back into the composer editor (or by using mutt). Would it be possible to generate a reply to the msg which is highlighted in the description window, e.g. when right-clicking on that? The description window is the one which has a tree-list of the msg parts.
Subject: Re: New: reply to an encapsulated msg In KDE 3.2 you will be able to open the encapsulated msg in a separate message viewer and there you will have to possibility to reply to the message. I'm not closing your feature wish because I like the idea with Reply in the context menu of the mime tree viewer.
Subject: Re: reply to an encapsulated msg Thanks :)
