Description peter kupec 2003-07-03 13:12:33 UTC
Version: 1.5.1 (using KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 3.2
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-4GB

in KMail I use the addresses from KAdressbook;when inserting an email-address in a new email, the menu gives me addresses sorted by 'given name' and 'family name'.
I would like to change that order (e.g. by 'family name and 'given name').

I now use kde3.2.2.2-1 and the situation is unchanged: the name in the address-list is composed of firstname, lastname and sorted by firstname; but looking for a name means in most cases searching for the last name

The name column may be divided into 'given name' and 'family name'

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
