Description Vlad Drakul 2003-06-30 17:53:56 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.2.2
OS: Linux

I have a local network organised in 2 workgroups and 1 domain. The domain controler is a computer running Windows 2000 Server. In Konqueror "smb:/" shows the corect list of workgroups and domains. Expl:
GSI (workgroup)
LAB2 (workgroup)
LABINFO (win2k domain)
When I try to browse the win2k domain an "Internal Error" ocurs with "Unknown error condition".
My system is Slackware 9.0. Samba is installed and the computer is configured as part of the workgroup GSI.
Smb4k is able to browse the domain.

I upgraded to KDE 3.1.2 on Slackware 9.0 and this bug is stil there.
Aditional information:
If I try to browse a password protected share on both a Win2k Server or on a Samba server it
doesn't ask for a user and password but I get the same "Internal error" with "Unknown error
confition".
Other tools like LinNeighborhood work just fine.

I have the same problem under SuSE 8.2. I use KDE 3.1.1. I was browsing an NT Domain
share and I receive this message
