Version: 2.3 (using KDE KDE 3.1.2) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Right now the notes look rather old compared to the rest of my desktop. If they could have slightly more rounder corners, or perhaps even look like a 'real' one, that would be great :) May an option to apply a (tiled or non-tiled) texture the background of the note?
Subject: Re: sticky notes with more eye candy Well... I'm sorry to say but even though this would be nice it has a quite low priority on my TODO list. I still haven't been able to implement all the functionality in KNotes and that has to be done first. Having said that, yes, a background picture, a shadow for the windows and true transparency are planned features, although I'm not quite sure what you mean with "look like a real one"... do you mean a folded edge? Maybe you can create a mock-up of a screenshot? regards, Michael
I'm not the original reporter of this bug, but what about changing the default background color? I changed mine to html color #F6F0AD . I'm going to attatch a screenshot with default color and this new color side by side.
Created attachment 3130 [details] Side by side comparition of default colored note, and less saturated color.
Depends on #99853.
