That means if you have 25 Messages in foo and 12 in foo/bar it says - - foo 25 |- bar 12 and: + - foo 25 That should be sumed up: + - foo 37
This wishlist item still holds true for kmail 1.6.2 (KDE 3.2.2)

Comment #2 is correct - fixed for case where no unread or total column is shown. But count is still incorrect (shown for parent folder only) if the unread column is shown.
