Description Mario Tanev 2003-06-07 21:07:39 UTC
Version: 1.5.9 (using KDE 3.1.9)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3 (Gentoo Linux 1.4, PVR 3.3)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-gentoo-r5

If a person receives personal messages and mailing-list messages to the same mail-box, they may wish to keep the personal messages on the server, and delete the mailing-list messages AFTER retrieval. Now, I know POP filters exist, however:

1) If Delete mail from server is applied on POP level, those messages will not be downloaded but directly deleted
2) The person who receives mailing-lists probably has them sorted by List-ID already, and would like to have a common place to add rules such as "Delete mail from server"

I would like to be able to selectivly delete messages from the server also. I
sometimes check my email from two different computers. One I have set up (using
mozilla mail) to check my email and only delete the messages from the server
that I have deleted from the inbox in mozilla. If I leave all the "good"
messages and delete the junk, I don't have to cruise through the junkmail a
second time. As soon as this feature is enabled, I will be able to use kmail on
both computers!
