Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.2) Installed from: SuSE RPMs This may turn into a bit of a finger-pointer, and really the "bug" is merely cosmetic, but it was noticable as soon as I started to use it. Basically I've added a second "uid" to my public key [a second e-mail address]. At first, I didn't realize that the newly added uid was also set as the default (primary), but when kmail displayed previously (inline)-signed messages, the uid/comment displayed was the new one rather than the original, which tipped me off. Sure enough, changing which ID is considered "primary" for a given key changed what gets displayed in the "message was signed by..." block. Then I noticed messages with detached signatures are identified strictly by the e-mail address used -- the name/comment field is not displayed. I'm at a loss to decide which is "more correct" -- displaying the primary name and comment regardless of the actual e-mail address, or displaying "just" the e-mail without identifying it in a "more human friendly" format ["tom emerson" vs. "osnut" or "linuxmentor"]
