Hi,

the columns "Speed" and "Rem. Time" seem to be based on the last second of data-transfer.
This makes them fluctuate too much.
The speed and time values should be averages over a larger period of time.

Well the same is true for the shown "download-speed" of all copy- and move-operations in kde/konqueror.

I don't know what value kget uses, but KIO uses the average of the last 7
seconds.

Greetings, Stephan

Is ok for me.

The remaining time fluctuates between 30 min and 4 h for me. It is useless. How do I increase the window to calculate the average?

In which context does this happens ?

Such speed fluctuating 8x cannot really be compensated.
The issue here is the copying speed.

This could happen when download/using webdav, or copying to a usb stick/slow disk in which case the bug is reported to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=281270
