I would like to be able to select a word in Konqueror (perhaps in other
applications too?) and when right clicking, besides the existing options I
would like to have a custom option which I would add.

As an example, as non-native English speaker I do appreciate the services of
Mirriam-Webster (online dictionary). They provide a plugin for Internet
Explorer which adds an option to search the currently selected word in
their word database and explain it.
