Version:           3.1.1 (using KDE 3.1.1)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2.2
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-gentoo-r2

I have Show file tips enabled, and when in Icon View mode, they show up fine, with previews and all. But when I use list views (I prefer detailed list view) they do not show up at all.

I should also point out that I tried switching off Show previews, but the tips still don't 
show up in list view.
