Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1) Installed from: Slackware Packages The K menu can only be viewed in alphabetical order. This is very inconvenient as I have to scroll through many programs to get to the one I want. I should be able to drag things around or change the order in menu editor and save the changes to the K menu.
What's happening? Opened in 2003 and "Status: NEW"?? Apparently nothing is happening. Anyway, this is the thing I am waitingi for since I first installed Linux a few years ago. Each new release of KDE makes my heart beating faster as I am waiting for this feature. Needless to say, I am always disapointed to see only alphabetical ordering. Is it really so hard to implement? For example, it's awful to see menu items switch places only because I switch KDE from English to Estonian. Really annoying. If KDE 4 doesn't implement ordering menu items, I'll switch to Gnome.
