Version:           v0.8.3 (using KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from:    Gentoo
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2.1
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.20

When KGet's main window is visible, X and KGet are each eating 30% upto 45% of my CPU time (Duron 800MHz). I think KGet redraws its GUI too often(?). Also the menu's and other GUI elements of KGet respond a bit slow while KGet displays a list of
