Hi,

some guys don't know how to distribute big files and send them around by mail. If the files are useful at all, you will usually store them somewhere else, but you may wish to keep the mail itself.

In comes a feature I've seen only once yet in a mail client, unfortunately not kmail: "Strip attachments". Keep the mail in the mail folder, but remove the attachments.

With kmail's beautiful attachment tree browser, it may be possible to tie the function to the context menu of that attachment browser?
